The gastronomy and the culinary art are the boast of the lands. Here the visitors can taste the savoury dishes of the gastronomy, which are still cooked in a traditionanl and plain manner.
The most known dish is surely the “maccheroni con le pallottine”, home made pasta seasoned with “ragù” and small meat – balls.
Another speciality is the “scrippelle mbusse”, some omletes covered with broth. The touritst can also eat “timballo”. The dishes we spoke about are gastronomical specialities of the inland. Nevertheless you can taste delicious dishes cooked with fish. A particulary speciality is the “brodetto”, a fish soup drinking the Trebbiano d’Abruzzo, a dry white wine, acidulous and fruity, suitable for fish. There are, besides, the roasted pork products, salted meat and the “pecorino” cheese handicraft produced.
