The Association wants to preserve the customs and habits of the region. There are many shows which recall historical events and old traditions. Some of them: in Silvi “Lu Cencialone”, that recalls an ancient legend where a courageous young man saved the town with his light .
On August 14 th the opening of the holy door of Atri’s Cathedral gives the indulgence to the people assembled in prayer. In the same period in Roseto, Pineto and Silvi the statue od Maria is carried in a suggestive sea procession. It is a really suggestive and powerful show.
